Summer Boardroom Luncheon Series – Judge Bloom

On June 11, 2015, the FBA was honored to host United States District Court Judge Beth Bloom at the first “Boardroom Luncheon” of the summer. The June luncheon was held at the downtown offices of the Miami Foundation. Judge Bloom shared her candid thoughts on various topics raised by the attendees, including the scheduling of pre-trial deadlines, the resolution of discovery disputes, and requests for oral argument. She also solicited feedback from the group to gain insight into areas for improvement. Judge Bloom spoke to a full house, and was kind enough to engage in a thoughtful dialogue with the members.

The Boardroom lunches are free and open only to current FBA members. Capped at 20 attendees, these lunches provide an opportunity for members to engage in conversation with members of the judiciary and other prominent practitioners. Additional Boardroom lunches will be held in July, August, and September, so if you missed this one, we hope to see you at the next.
