UM Public Interest Luncheon

On September 29, 2014, the Miami Law Student Division of the Federal Bar Association held a Public Interest Luncheon at the University of Miami School of Law.  The Luncheon provided a unique opportunity for UM Law students to learn about federal public interest jobs and also receive advice on how to best position themselves to be competitive for those positions.  The event was moderated by David Weinstein (Clark Silverglate) and featured Helaine Batoff (Assistant Federal Public Defender), Daniel Bernstein (Assistant United States Attorney), and Russell Koonin  (Securities and Exchange Commission).
