SOUTH FLORIDA CHAPTER

FAQs
(& troubleshooting email issues)

  • Q: I am not receiving Membership Emails from FBA South Florida. What should I do?
A: If you're not receiving our Membership Emails, there could be a few reasons for this. Firstly, please ensure that the email address we have on record for you is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Q: How can I verify or update my email address for FBA South Florida communications?
A: You have two convenient options to verify or update your email address: Contact Us: Reach out to our support team, and we'll be happy to check and update your email address if necessary. Sign Up for More Information: Visit the footer of any page on our website and click on "Sign up for more information." This will automatically update your email address, ensuring that you receive our emails in the future.
  • Q: I am still not receiving emails. What should I do?
A: If you're still not receiving our emails, there are a few steps you can take: Check Your Spam Folder: It's possible that our emails are being filtered into your spam folder. Please check your spam folder and, if you find our emails there, mark them as "not spam" to ensure they reach your inbox. Security Measures: Your organization might have stringent security measures in place to protect against phishing and malware. In such cases, you can request that your IT department "whitelist" the email addresses of our current and future presidents: For 2023, the president's email is Tal Lifshitz, at tjl@kttlaw.com. For 2024, the president's email will be Stephanie Turk, at sturk@stearnsweaver.com. Active Account: To prevent your email account from being classified as "inactive" by your email service provider, make sure to regularly open and engage with our emails. Some providers may limit email delivery to accounts that appear inactive. Taking these steps should help ensure that you receive our emails without any issues.
  • Q: What if none of these measures work?
A: In the event that none of the previously mentioned measures resolve the issue, we have a backup strategy to ensure you can access our communications: Website Access: We now publish our emails directly on our website. You can find them in two places: Some are visible on the homepage, simply scroll down below the "Upcoming Events" section. All are under "Blog" in the navigation menu at the top of your screen. Social Media Links: To stay updated and access our content easily, we provide links to learn more / sign up for events on our social media channels. Please consider doing the following to ensure our content appears in your social media feed: Connect with us on LinkedIn, follow our page: LinkedIn Follow us on Facebook (new). Facebook Engage with our posts on Instagram by liking or interacting with them so that our future posts appear in your stream. Instagram By utilizing these alternative methods, you'll have reliable access to our communications even if traditional email delivery methods aren't working for you.
